Bi-Centennial Mormon Pioneer Mug - No longer
available |
This exceptional piece is very rare, particularly in the condition it is in (no
crackling - it is not a repro, we know the
provenance). Made for the 1897 Bi-Centennial celebration of the
coming of the pioneers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints to Salt Lake City in 1847, this mug is in almost perfect shape.
This mug was produced for LDS apostates as a way to snub the Church
regarding the Word of Wisdom. This item was crafted by Pabst of
Milwaukee. |
