"A Desperate Attempt to Solve the Mormon Question"
from Puck magazine (c. 1889)

A sample of one of the color lithographs in the collection, mounted in matting and a frame.  The lithograph was printed by:  "Mayer, Merkel & Ottmann. Lith. 21-25 Warren St. N.Y."  Measurements:

Including frame: 24 3/4" x 18 7/8"
Wood-cut: 21" x 14" (approx) 

The four images include various statements about Mormonism.  The captions read:

I think one wife is enough. -- Gillam. How long will this destructive monster be allowed to live?  -- Opper.
I imagine it must be a perfect Paradise. -- Keppler. What is the use of Mormonism, when a man can change his wife whenever he likes?  -- Graetz.
